The heat index in Cebu has reached more than 40°C so taking a dip is often what you need. Last Sunday, my friends and I held our little reunion. The good thing is that there is this “semi-exclusive” resort that we were able to rent.
Purple Dolphin
Resort just opened a year ago and they cater to tourists, mostly locals, who
want to just chill. The resort has two pools- one for the kids and one for the
adults. The depth is only about 4 feet for the adult pool.

Rate:
Adults – P60
Children above 5
years old – P40
Cottage – P250
Corkage – P30 per
dish
When we got there, “Ate”,
the resort’s caretaker has been very accommodating to us. She made sure that we
had all the things we need so we were able to borrow knife and tong when we
were grilling the pork and fish.
There is also a
restaurant if you didn’t bring food.
Our agenda was
nothing but to have fun. And have fun we did.
We had a boodle
fight (my first time) and it was so much fun indeed- eating altogether and with
our bare hands.
Lunch. Prepared with love and lots of laugh. |
The calm before the storm. Haha |
Kainan na! |
To get there:
If you are from
Cebu, ride a jeep or v-hire from Cebu/SM City Cebu heading to Cordova. You can
ask the driver to drop you off at the corner of Barangay Kalawisan. Ride a
tricycle or pedicab and just tell the driver that you are heading to Purple
Dolphin Resort/MJ Boos Convenience Store.
What’s your summer
adventure? Share it!
In the mean time, here are pictures from our Sunday fun time. Until next laag!
